Set on the water, COY is perfect for corporate hosting, milestone celebrations, private dinners, or relaxed cocktail events.
Our Private Dining Room offers an intimate setting for up to nine guests and is ideal for smaller celebrations. This space can also be booked for executive dinners or occasions that call for a more personal atmosphere.
For larger gatherings, the main restaurant comfortably accommodates up to 50 seated guests, although we recommend around 45 for a more spacious dining experience. The space also transitions seamlessly into cocktail-style events, welcoming up to 80 standing guests for more social and interactive occasions.
Our outdoor seating area adds another dimension to a COY event, offering space for up to 40 guests to enjoy the open air of the V&A Waterfront Marina. A spectacular view of Table Mountain makes this section is especially popular during Cape Town’s warmer summer months (October to April).
Rather than limiting guests to a fixed format, we work closely with each booking to create something that feels tailored to the occasion. From roaming canapés and harvest tables filled with artisanal breads, cheeses, and homemade dips, to interactive oyster stations and curated cheese and charcuterie displays, every detail can be shaped around the style of the event.
For group dining, we also offer carefully designed set menus that accommodate diverse schedules and dietary requirements. From quick business lunches to multi-course dinners, our team is always available to guide guests toward the best option for their event.
The kitchen remains at the centre of everything we do. Our menus focus on local ingredients, seasonal produce, and South African flavours that reflect the landscape and cultures surrounding us.

Welcome to COY. We’re committed to offering you an exceptional dining experience. Please note that entry is at our discretion, and we ask all guests to respect our atmosphere.
To confirm your booking, a R450 deposit per guest is required within 24 hours. If not received, the reservation will be cancelled automatically. Full refunds are offered for cancellations or changes made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations, no-shows, or unannounced changes will result in the loss of the deposit.
